Delivering twice as much in half the time
An Australian government agency was attempting to develop new solutions in ReactJS. This was proving challenging due to technical skills shortages. DB Results benchmarked the use case, comparing ReactJS with Outsystems and demonstrated that developing on OutSystems delivered the solution in half the time, with half the resources.
Digitising for greater accessibility
Maurice Blackburn partnered with DB Results to design and build an online Wills platform using OutSystems. The MyLife Wills platform was built in just six weeks, providing a public-facing web browser for clients; an internal administration portal; a tool to manage business rules; and complete integration with Maurice Blackburn’s core systems and workflow.
Clients use the self-serve web portal to lodge their personal information at any time, from any location. Legal staff review clients’ wishes and consult with them to finalise their Will.
The result is a hybrid online service that combines the ease and convenience of DIY Will kits and digital platforms with personalised, legal guidance. The flexibility of the online platform has increased the reach and volume of business and has notably attracted a strong share of 25–40 years olds, in addition to the traditionally older demographic. It has also transitioned a higher percentage of traffic from Maurice Blackburn’s call centre to online.
Enhancing employee connectedness
With strategic foresight, Estia Health embarked on a digital transformation to develop an internal staff communications platform, Estia Pulse, to enhance connectedness and support among their employees. Estia engaged DB Results to successfully deliver the Estia Pulse app using OutSystems.
Estia Pulse is a secure native mobile and web application that provides all 7,000 staff and front-line employees the ability to share timely, consistent, and personalised communication.
As the platform is built using OutSystems, it can be updated and optimised at any time, giving Estia Health the flexibility and scalability to enhance user experience and deliver new offerings in line with changes to aged care regulations and their staff and residents’ needs.
Hyper-personalised CX
DB Results partnered with an Australian Federal Government department that services one of the most diverse customer bases in Australia to deliver a hyper-personalised, multi-device digital solution. With inclusive and human-centred design principles top of mind, our team built this solution on the OutSystems platform with market-leading digital accessibility and compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 guidelines.

Global fintech Phundex saw a need for a centrally managed, collaborative, end-to-end investment management platform and partnered with DB Results to bring their vision to life. The Phundex platform digitises workflows enabling internal and external users to streamline the investment process and customise it to suit their business needs. Delivered in 3 months using OutSystems, Phundex halves the time to process applications, improves data integrity, drives efficiency and communication and provides an auditable trail.
